Adrian has worked extensively in theatre, film, television animation and video games with over 120 credits to date, playing a wide range of roles for over three decades.

Recent film and television include “Canadian Bacon”, “X-Men III”, “The Fog”, and “Rise of the Planet of the Apes”. He played Sigourney Weaver’s wayward brother Sebastian in Walter Hill’s “The Assignment”. He has guest starred in “The Good Doctor”, “Legends Of Tomorrow”, “Once upon a Time”, “Supernatural” (twice), “Strange Empire”, “The Killing”, “Klondike”, and “Van Helsing” as well as “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina”. “SEE”, with Jason Momoa, and was a series regular as Mayor Fife in “Home Before Dark” for Apple TV, Doc in “Riverdale” and King Brpx in “Supergirl”.

More recently guest star roles (2022-2025) in “Reginald the Vampire”, “The Good Doctor”, “The Irrational”, “Percy Jackson”, and “Fire Country”. He also played the cult leader Beau, in the 2025 horror film “Shadow of God”.

Animation voices include being the original Nightcrawler in “X-Men: The Animated Series” and in 2024’s Emmy nominated “X-Men 97”, the dragon Sol Regem in “The Dragon Prince”, and Alan Grant in “LEGO Jurassic Park”.

In 2012 he was nominated for a BAFTA award for his performance capture as Haytham Kenway in the Video Game “Assassin’s Creed 3”.
